In short
- ILAA Productions is the film and media division of Hexahorizon Global Private Limited.
- We produce films, series, advertisements and branded videos.
- We take a project all the way through editing, colour and sound — not just the shoot.
- We help outside productions shoot in Karnataka: crew, permits and locations.
- You can send us a script. We read what comes in.
About ILAA Productions
ILAA Productions is the film and media division of Hexahorizon Global Private Limited.
The division develops and produces work for Kannada and pan-Indian release, and offers line production — crew, equipment, permissions and the day-to-day running of a shoot — to units filming in Karnataka.
The slate is in development and we are reading submissions now. Send a title, a genre, a length and one paragraph, and we will tell you whether we want to read the full script. Nobody is asked to pay to be considered; if a project goes forward, the writer is paid under a written agreement.
Post-production is planned into the budget from day one rather than left to whatever money survives the shoot. It is the stage where most films are finished, and the stage where most of them die.
Who this is for
Writers and directors with a project looking for a producer. Brands and agencies who need a video made properly. And production companies from outside the state who need someone on the ground in Karnataka.
What we help with
Producing films and series
We take a script and turn it into a finished film — budgeting it, scheduling it, hiring the crew, running the shoot and seeing it through post-production. Our slate is being built now, and we are reading submissions.
Advertisements and branded video
Commercials, product films, company films and social video. You bring the brief; we handle the concept, the shoot and the delivery in whatever formats you need.
Line production in Karnataka
If you are shooting in Karnataka but based elsewhere, we can be your local team. That means crew, equipment, location scouting, permissions and the day-to-day running of the shoot, so you are not managing all of it from another city.
Post-production
Post-production is everything after the camera stops: editing, colour grading (making the picture look consistent and intentional), sound mixing, and visual effects. It is where most films are actually made, and where under-funded projects die. We plan for it in the budget from the first day.
Which parts of post we do in-house and which we do with partners is being confirmed. [to be confirmed]
How it works
- You send the script or briefFor films, a script or a treatment. For brand work, whatever you have — even a paragraph is enough to start.
- We read it and respondYou get a straight answer: whether it is something we can produce, and what we think it would take.
- Budget and scheduleA written budget and a shooting schedule, including the money set aside for post-production. No project starts on a verbal estimate.
- Pre-productionCasting, crew, locations, permissions and equipment. The unglamorous part that decides whether the shoot works.
- The shootRun to the schedule, with daily updates so you always know where the project stands.
- Post and deliveryEdit, colour, sound and final delivery in the formats you need, on the date agreed.
What we do not do
- We do not take on a project we cannot crew and finish.
- We do not charge writers or actors a fee to be considered. If anyone asks you for that, walk away.
- We do not start a shoot without the post-production budget accounted for.
- We do not promise distribution, a festival selection or a release. Those are decided by other people.
Common questions
Can I send you my script?
Yes. Use the contact page and tell us the title, the genre, the length and a one-paragraph summary. We will tell you whether we want to read the full script.
Do you pay for scripts?
If we take a project forward, the writer is paid under a written agreement. We do not ask writers to pay us anything at any stage.
What languages do you work in?
The languages our slate covers are being confirmed. [to be confirmed]
How much does a brand video cost?
It depends on the length, the crew, the locations and how much post-production it needs. We give you an itemised written budget before anything is booked.
Can you help us shoot in Karnataka?
Yes — that is what line production means. Tell us the dates, the locations you have in mind and the size of your unit.
This division is new, so there is no filmography to show you yet. We would rather say that plainly than fill this page with stock footage. What we can show you is a real budget and a real schedule for your project.
